| 08/06/10 LADIES – First of all remember our LADIES BREAKFAST this Saturday, the 7th, at 8:30am!!! YUM! EVERYONE – Please bring any items from the list below to send to Michelle in Aniak , Alaska . THIS SUNDAY last chance!!! See the list below!!! EVERYONE – GIVE AWAY DAY and CHURCH BBQ Potluck!! Saturday, the 14th from 10am – 2pm with lunch around noon!!! Sign up to bring a salad or dessert, bring usable items you no longer want to store and see if someone else would like to have it. Or maybe you see something you’d like – it is yours for the taking! Time to clean out those crazy storage areas and stuffed closets. See attached flyer “give away bbq 2010”. EVERYONE – Remember to bring school supplies, 24ct crayons, #2 lead pencils are always in demand. WE have until Aug. 22nd to bring things! See attached flyer “school supplies 2010”. EVERYONE – August 29th we are invited to a Spaghetti & wine supper at St Elizabeth (our host church). Entertainment too, 5pm RSVP by Aug 20th at 206-243-6844 so they can be sure to have enough food. This is a free dinner, but if you would like to make a donation they will use it toward the cost of a new furnace for their main building. See attached flyer “spaghetti dinner”. ITEMS FOR ANIAK , ALASKA - PLEASE HELP IF YOU ARE ABLE! Hope to have some of the items make it to church this Sunday. Melissa leaves on Wed Aug. 11th. Thank you Jackie There are a few items I could use, if possible: · Claritin (I am out) · Honey · Paper towel holder (for the new house –can hang or sit on the counter) · Pantyliners and pad (with more girls here we go through them faster) · I need one more queen sized mattress cover Dianna will pick this up · I can always use paper products and Ziploc bags freezer and regular · All kinds of bandages – band-aids, 2x4’s, 4x4’s, fingertip, knuckle, etc · We don’t have any tea to make ice tea –I am sure the boys would love this! Dianna will get this too · The boys need ankle socks (they go through them so fast out here) · Both boys need tennis shoes again sizes 10 & 10-1/2 – the ones they got at Christmas have --well gotten their wear · I just ordered some school clothes for the boys but if you have any jeans 34x29 or 30 and 32x34 they could use more –they are good on shirts and sweatshirts As far as clothes go we could use the following for various needs as well as in preparation for school: · Clothes sizes 5 & 6 boys and girls · Clothes 24 months to 4T · Underwear and socks –all sizes · The girls living with me this fall wear size 9 pants and med or large shirts · Hooded sweatshirts - all sizes · Diapers (I am out) · Pacifiers |
